This course is built upon the philosophy of outdoor experiential education pioneer Kurt Hahn, and intended to be compatible with young adults participating in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or who want to become outdoor educators and/or expedition guides. With teachables including climate change education, outdoor expedition and canoe skills, gear selection, risk management, and much more, This course will provide you with everything you need to safely lead others into the great outdoors.

Join us for a one-of-a-kind adventure where we will explore Ecuador and Colombia, two of the most naturally and culturally diverse nations on Earth. During this course, participants will learn to move between Amazonian reforestation projects, volunteer on a community organic farm, and learn to navigate environments from the cities of Bogota and Quito to the Andes using rafts, horseback, and more.
