Yukon River Summer Family & Friends Adventures

Yukon River paddling is the best way to spend a week-long adventure this summer!

Imagine canoeing down the famous Yukon River with a massive sky above you as you breathe the best air on the planet. What makes the Yukon River different from the other places we paddle and adventure?

“To me, the Yukon River is my way of tapping into the life force of the Yukon as the river is the main artery vein that brings life to the Yukon.  The Yukon River creates a unique and magnetic relationship with me; it becomes the medicine and the zen master to my soul. I return every year to acknowledge its spirit, power and teachings. This year will be my 14th Yukon adventure journey and I am excited to have you join me. The history, geography, legendary stories, and people shape the experience.”

– Jeff Willis, owner of Fireside Adventures.

Experience a tranquility that can only be found on the Yukon River

Introducing the Yukon River

The Yukon River is steeped with history (thousands of years of endless stories), geology, diverse nature, character and more. It is larger than life that demands respect and attention while requiring every traveller to “let go and lean in” as the river is the master teacher and our water highway to Dawson City.  It’s magic for those seeking something off the beaten path, filled with history, flowing through an abundance of wildlife while winding through the heart of Yukon.

With the guidance of our expert and seasoned instructors, the Yukon River is suitable for beginner paddlers. We’ll provide a quick “paddling and river safety 101” lesson before we take off!
