The last days of winter in the Yukon have always carried a magical, almost mythical meaning for people all over the world and are a time of great beauty and excitement for Yukoners. We’ve designed this Yukon Explorer: Snow Edition to introduce the Yukon’s awesome winter activities while emphasizing leadership and life-skills training that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

June 25–July 10, 2025 | Ages: 19–25 (co-ed) | Quito, Otavalo, Cuicocha, Cochasqui, Cayambe, Cotopaxi
Join us for a one-of-a-kind adventure where we will explore Ecuador, one of the most naturally and culturally diverse nations on Earth. During this course, participants will learn to move between Amazonian reforestation projects, volunteer on a community organic farm, and learn to navigate environments from Quito to the Andes using rafts, horseback, and more.Sights you’ve never seen, flavours you’ve never tasted, music you’ve never heard; all of this and more awaits in Ecuador!

This course is built upon the philosophy of outdoor experiential education pioneer Kurt Hahn, and intended to be compatible with young adults participating in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award or who want to become outdoor educators and/or expedition guides. With teachables including climate change education, outdoor expedition and canoe skills, gear selection, risk management, and much more, This course will provide you with everything you need to safely lead others into the great outdoors.

Summer 2025 | Ages: 19–30 (co-ed) | Tokyo, Osaka, Mount Fuji, Nara, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kobuchizawa, Yamanishi
From the endless skyscrapers of Tokyo to the Japanese Alps, from the historic back streets of Kyoto to the peace memorials of Hiroshima, this experience is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Gen Z adventurers who want something real and that speaks to the needs of the generation who will be most impacted by climate change.
